SoftWool Silk has a large carrying capacity - at the first wash, the yarn will puff up a bit. The tension will not change, but the yarn becomes softer and the knitting seems more closed.

Many silk/wool mixes has the reputation of growing in the wash. SoftWool Silk does not grow in the wash because we have chosen a great quality wool which has a large carrying capacity and combined it with pliable silk, so that the wool helps keep the silk in shape.
