Gepard Puno Upcycling

Puno Upcycling is the most sustainable product I have experienced.

Three new colors, all 100% upcycling (only recycled "leftovers" and no additional dyeing or other resource consumption) of the finest materials from our spinning mill.

The net that is woven around the fibers is recycled polyamide and not newly manufactured, but you don't notice any difference.

All large and small amounts of fiber that were previously thrown away are now collected together. For example, the machines are cleaned of fiber between each spinning, lost bits etc., everything is collected and sorted according to quality and colours.

The fibers are then mapped and the bits of color are mixed in. If you look carefully at the yarn, you will be able to find traces of many fine colors. Each of the 3 colors consists of color mixtures that match together.

The price is the same as for Puno. It requires extra work to collect and sort, so what the spinning mill saves on raw materials is used extra on labour, but the environment is a sure winner.
